Why It Lasts Longer

Most alcohol based sanitisers that are wall mounted, dispense a 1.6ml dollop of gel per squirt. it doesn’t physically look like very much in your hand so people tend to pump the dispenser 2 or 3 times dispensing typically 3.2ml – 4.8ml per application.
Nilaqua’s wall-mounted alcohol-free sanitiser dispensers just 0.8ml but as an expanded foam. This physically looks like a much bigger amount and hence people will only pump the dispenser once or sometimes twice, dispensing between 0.8ml and 1.6ml per application, so it’s easy to see why Nilaqua lasts twice as long and therefore is far more cost effective and out-performs alcohol gel by a country mile.
Nilaqua kills more germs
The difference between 99.9% effective and 99.9999% effective means tens of thousand more germs are killed!
Mathematically it doesn’t sound like very much difference but in germ killing terms it’s chalk and cheese. 99.99% is equivalent to a quick wash of the hands using ordinary soap. 99.9999% is the best possible achievement you can attain and the reason why hospitalls are changing to alcohol-free.
Alcohol based sanitiser doesn’t even kill C-Diff and is not very effective against bugs like Norovirus. Alcohol is only effective for 30 seconds, after that you can re-infect yourself with the very next thing you touch. Nilaqua kills germs and viruses in 30 seconds too but it also provides a protective barrier that continues working for up to 6 hours!
Alcohol sanitiser dries and cracks the skin creating tiny fissures, the more you use it the worse the germ killing capability becomes as the cracks and fissures get bigger and start to harbour the very bacteria you wise to kill.
Nilaqua is gentle and kind to the skin and won’t sting cuts or abrasions, it provides a protective barrier and protection increases with use as the barrier builds up.
